The history of bioscovery

2011

The beginning

With the production of plant pots at the Altdorf (Germany) site, Peter Steinl integrates Biofibre GmbH into the SteinlGroup.

2017

Establish­ment of the development department

Development of innovative and sustainable thermoplastic compounds in close cooperation with the Technical University of Munich and other universities.

2019

Establish­ment of WPC competence centre

Majority stake in Naftex GmbH (based in Wiesmoor, Germany), establishment of a competence centre for WPC and profiles.

2023

Production site in France

Relocation of the competence centre to France. Epinal (France) as a new audited industrial production site following the entry of Olaf Hahn (AnvisGroup).

2025

Establish­ment of bioscovery

Strategic realignment of the business units under the umbrella of bioscovery in order to meet customer requirements even better and faster.
